Each week I participate in Perfect Moment Monday, sponsored by the blog, WeeblesWobblog.com. According to Weebles, “Perfect Moment Monday is about noticing a perfect moment rather than creating one. Perfect Moments can be momentous or ordinary or somewhere in between.” And so, here is a Perfect Moment for this week.
Think about listening to an extremely talented musician with a beautiful voice with the Colorado Monument and a beautiful sunset in the background. Add in a very sweet hubby, one teenage son, and some really great friends and you have the makings for a Perfect Moment Monday post.
Earlier this year, I got to see Carrie Rodriguez perform as the opening act for Los Lonely Boys. She was AWESOME!
When I heard that she was part of this summer’s Riverfront Commission’s outdoor concert series, I was delighted!
The weather was beautiful, our friends set up our chairs on the lawn about 15 rows from the front of the stage. And, because we know (important) people who know (important) people, we even got to meet Carrie and her band backstage.
